While four profiles might be too few for some, it should be enough to satisfy the needs of most. Having this feature is a boon after spending a fair amount of time finding a stable overclock, and it allows quick changes between settings if you have multiple settings you use on a regular basis. My guess is somewhere in that software is the ability to tell it to adjust what the card is doing as far as power management. It simply waits for the signal from the video card to awake.
